Taylor’s & Company Chiappa 1886 Ridge Runner Rifle 45-70 Government Caliber 18.5″ Half Octagon Barrel Matte Blue Finish This takedown version takes the classic 1886 rifle and turns it into a versatile firearm. It features all the original qualities of the 1886 rifle made by John Browning with the takedown capability identical to the 1892 takedown rifle. This classic version holds onto the traditional bluing and case hardening finishes while the Ridge Runner versions are upgraded to feature a more modern finish. The Ridge Runner version features modern upgrades such as: matte chrome or blue finish, black rubber soft touch over wood stocks, half-round & half-octagonal barrel, integrated Skinner peep & weaver rail rear sight, front fiber optic sight, sling swivels, D-shaped lever, and a muzzle brake.
