I saved for a long time When I was a kid to get this rifle. I bought it brand new from Sunset Sporting Goods sometime in the late 1980's. I took it hunting ONCE. I'm sure that it has no more than one box of shells throught it. Then life, work, marriage, military and kids took over and I haven't touched it in decades. *Weatherby Vanguard VGX *Claro walnut stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap with white spacers. *24 inch hammer forged barrel and forged receiver *Sub 1 inch groups were advertised at the time. The rifle came with a <1 inch test target that has been lost over the years. *Includes 3x9 Bushnell ScopeChief VI wide angle scope with Burris mount Cash only and I'm firm on the price for now.
