Original 1944 Colt 1911A1 .45 ACP WWII USGI w/ Rig- 3 Mags

I have a Colt 1911A1 chambered in .45ACP and produced in 1944. This pistol is totally correct and original. All markings and proofs are correct and present. This is a GHD proofed example and retains the original parkerized finish. The grips are in nice shape and piece exhibits low wear overall. The bore is shiny and all mechanical functions perform as expected. Currently resides in the pictured holster and rig with 2 extra magazines for a total of 3 included. Notably, this 1942 Boyt holster features what is presumably the penciled writing of a Veteran- from what I can make out it reads the following: Gun Number 1385727/ Machinist/ Joseph Hoffman/ PT 24 MTB (again, that's the best that I can tell, if you have better eyes than me feel free to correct my interpretation). The webbed belt and mag pouch is also ink stamped with the name: “Hoffman J”. This is a nice looking Colt with some cool accessories and historical presence Text works Best 270-239-9098
